This policy explains what information Blue Planet Export Inc. ("Blue Planet", "we", "us") collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who can see it, and the choices you have. We don't run ads, we don't use analytics trackers, and we never sell your information.

1. Who we are

Blue Planet Export Inc. is a Philippine export company that consolidates and ships food, grocery, health & beauty, and specialty products to wholesale buyers worldwide.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

Account details: your name, company name, email address, country, and password.
If you sign in with Google: Google shares your name, email address, and Google account ID with us. We use them to set up your account or sign you in, and we keep your Google email and account ID so you can sign in with Google again. We never see your Google password.
Company details: what you send for our company check, such as your company's address and VAT or registration number, and your role and business contact details.
Quotes and orders: your quote requests and orders, your cart and saved lists, and anything you write with them, such as notes.
Messages: what you write to our team and any files you attach.
Settings and agreements: your email choices, and when you agreed to this policy, our Terms of Service, and the company check.

Information collected automatically

Device and connection details: for example your internet address (IP address), the country you sign up from, your time zone, and the devices you stay signed in on. We use them to keep your account and our site safe, to help us check new companies, and to show our team your local time when they reply to you.
Account activity: a history of what's done in your account, which you can also see on your account page.

We don't collect your precise location, and this site never asks for your camera, microphone, or payment card details.

3. How we use your information

To confirm your email address and set up your account.
To check that your company is real before we share prices. Until then, your account can browse our products, keep a cart and saved lists, and send us your company details.
To contact you about that check.
Once your company is checked, your company name, address, country and contact name become your account details. They appear on your quotations, orders, and shipping documents.
If your company is already our client, to join your sign-in to that client.
To prepare pricing for your quote requests and process your orders and shipments.
To send service emails you'd expect: your confirmation codes, the result of your company check, confirmation that we received your request, your pricing documents, order and account updates, and security notices such as password changes. Every email we send is about something you asked for, we currently send no promotional or newsletter emails.
To answer your messages.
To keep the site and accounts secure and prevent abuse.

We do not use your information for advertising, we do not profile you, and we do not sell it to anyone.

4. Why we are allowed to use it

Your agreement: you agree to this policy when you create an account, and to the company check when you send your company details. You can take back your agreement for the check at any time (see Your rights and choices).
Doing business with you: we need your details to run your account, prepare your quotations, and process your orders and shipments.
What the law asks of us: tax, accounting, and export rules tell us to keep some documents, such as invoices and shipping papers.
Keeping the site safe: protecting your account and our site from abuse.

5. Cookies and browser storage

Cookies are small files your browser stores so a website can remember you. This site sets only two, both created by us and both needed for the site to work, there are no advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies, which is why you don't see a cookie pop-up here.

BPMSESSID	Keeps you signed in while you browse.	Until you close your browser or sign out.
market_remember_me	Keeps you signed in between visits, set only if you tick "Remember me".	14 days, extended as you use the site, never longer than 90 days. Removed when you sign out.

Your browser also stores a few things locally on your own device so the site works smoothly. This information stays in your browser, it is not sent to us as tracking:

Stored on your device	What it does
Your cart	Only while you're not signed in: remembers the products you've added, so your cart survives a page reload. When you're signed in, your cart is kept on our server.
Browsing position	Remembers your place in the product list during your visit.
Sign-out signal	Signs out every open tab at once when you sign out in one of them.
Sign-in cooldown	Remembers the short wait after too many wrong password attempts.
Account page tab	Remembers which part of your account page you had open, until you close the browser tab.

You can clear cookies and stored data at any time in your browser settings; the site will still work, though you'll be signed out and a cart you made without signing in will be emptied.

6. Who can see your information

Your requests, quotes, orders, and messages are handled by Blue Planet staff, who use them to prepare your pricing and ship your orders. Files you attach to messages can be opened only by you and our team.

The details you send for our company check are seen by the staff who check new companies. To check your company, we may look it up in official public registers.

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google knows that you signed in to our site, under Google's own privacy policy.

We never sell or rent your information. We share it outside the company only with trusted providers that help us operate the site, such as our email and web-hosting services, or where the law requires it.

7. How long we keep information

Sign-ups you didn't finish, and the codes we email you	Removed automatically after 7 days.
Your full VAT or registration number, and the country you sign up from	Only until we finish checking your company. After that we keep only the last 4 characters of the number.
The Google account you sign in with (if you use Sign in with Google)	Until you disconnect it on your Profile page, or your account is closed.
Your account, company, and contact details	While your account is open. If you ask us to close it, we remove what we no longer need, except what tax and export rules require us to keep.
An account whose company is never verified	Removed automatically 12 months after the account was last used, unless it has quotations or orders with us.
Quotes, orders, and shipping documents	As long as accounting, tax, and export rules require.
Messages and attached files	Kept with your orders.
Requests and quotes sent before October 2026 that were declined or expired	Removed automatically 12 to 24 months after they closed.
Internet addresses we keep to protect the site	Only as long as needed for that, then cleared automatically.

A quote request you haven't heard back on yet can be cancelled by you directly from your account, which removes it immediately. If you'd like something removed sooner, email us, see How to contact us.

8. Your rights and choices

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (R.A. 10173), and similar laws where you live, such as the GDPR in Europe, you can:

See the information we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
Correct it, you can already edit your company name, contact person, country, and address yourself on your account page, and change your sign-in email with an email confirmation.
Take back your agreement for the company check at any time. We then stop the check and delete the details you sent for it. Until a check is done, your account stays limited.
Ask us to delete your information or close your account. We'll do so, except for what tax and export rules make us keep, and we'll tell you what we kept and why.
Object to a use of your information, or ask us to limit it.
Complain to the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines (privacy.gov.ph) or your local data-protection authority if you believe we've handled your information badly. We'd appreciate the chance to fix it first.

To use any of these rights, email info@blueplanetexport.com.ph. We may ask you to confirm you own the email address on the account before acting.

9. How we protect your information

Your password is stored in a scrambled form that nobody, including us, can read back, and the codes we email you work only for a short time.
Your VAT or registration number is kept locked, and only the staff who check new companies can open it. We never put it in emails or chat messages.
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), limits who at Blue Planet can access what, and applies protections against common attacks.
We email you when your password or sign-in email changes, and you can sign out of every other device from your account page at any time.

10. Children

This is a wholesale trade site for businesses. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes we'll tell account holders by email or a notice in the client portal.
